The Beach: Our beach has been rated the best beach in the world by the Travel Channel in 2002. The beach starts in front of our community and continues south for about 3 km past the Iberostar Paraiso and Maroma Resorts. Because these hotels cater to their own clients, we rarely see their guests walking up to our area of the beach. This makes our beach almost private and secluded. The beach is great for swimming with its sandy bottom. There is a reef that breaks offshore about 75 meters out that is nice for snorkeling. Probably the best part is that you can walk for hours on some of the nicest cool sand you will find anywhere. From the front of the home, it is just 150 meters to the beach in a direct line or about a two minute walk. In fact, I can guarantee that it is a shorter walk to the beach from our home than from any room in the Mayan Palace next door. We are not ocean front BUT we do have ocean view.

The Pro’s: This home is one of the nicest in the community. Well maintained and outfitted. Because we are back 150 meters from the beach, you save thousands of dollars per week compared to the ocean front homes rental cost. The private pool and patios are great for lounging and relaxing. You can have a fully stocked kitchen waiting for you if you wish and never have to leave the area. (see amenities)

More Pros: Because of the private and secluded location, you should have a vehicle. A compact or intermediate sized vehicle can normally be arranged for under $200.00 for the week. Driving is safe and the roads are much like any highway in the US or Canada. The vehicle will allow you to see all the sights and attractions in the area without the hassel or cost of going with a tour group. If you just want to stay and enjoy the area, we can arrange airport pickup for a fee. Transportation is available from the airport for $15.00 each on a shuttle bus. Once here, taxis are available at a cost of about $20.00 dollars to Playa Del Carmen or $45.00 to Cancun. You can walk out to the highway anytime and get a local transportation bus for $3.00 but it is over a km to the highway.
